JENNIFER & HARRY

A bohemian summer wedding at Larmer Tree Gardens, Wiltshire

Jennifer & Harrys wedding at Larmer Tree Gardens was the kind of day that felt completely true to them from beginning to end. Relaxed, creative and full of personality, every part of the celebration reflected who they are, making it an absolute joy to photograph.

Set beneath the summer sunshine, their outdoor ceremony took place at the Lower Indian Room, an extraordinary hand-carved Nepalese building tucked away within the gardens. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they exchanged vows in one of the most unique ceremony spaces I've photographed, before everyone spilled out onto the lawns to celebrate with champagne.

The afternoon felt more like a festival than a traditional wedding. Guests wandered through the beautiful Victorian gardens, peacocks roamed freely around the grounds, and lawn games kept everyone laughing while the sunshine continued late into the day. Larmer Tree Gardens has a wonderfully free-spirited atmosphere, and Jennifer and Harry embraced every bit of it.

One of my favourite parts of the venue is the incredible Singing Theatre, a hidden open-air stage nestled amongst the trees that feels as though it's been lifted straight from another era. Every corner of the gardens offered something new to discover, creating endless opportunities for natural, unposed moments.

The creativity didn't stop with the venue. Jennifer and Harry had designed the details for their wedding breakfast themselves, filling the reception space with colourful flowers, thoughtful decorations and personal touches that made it feel completely their own. Even their vintage-inspired cake, decorated with delicate piping and bright red cherries, perfectly captured the playful feel of the day.

As the evening unfolded, the celebrations became even livelier, with the dance floor packed full of friends and family who clearly knew how to throw a party. Spending the day with Jennifer and Harry hardly felt like work. Their warmth, humour and easy-going nature made them such a joy to be around and photographing their wedding felt like documenting a celebration among friends.
