The Grain, The Glow, The Memory

There’s something timeless about 35mm film. I love the way it renders colour and light with a softness and depth that feels almost tangible, the warmth of sunlight, the subtle grain, the gentle imperfections and the way highlights seem to glow rather than simply fall away.

There’s an intimacy to film that I find difficult to replicate digitally. Each frame feels considered, yet wonderfully unpredictable, with its own character and texture. Perhaps that’s what I love most about it: film has a way of turning a fleeting moment into something that feels more like a memory, imperfect, nostalgic and full of feeling.

For me, shooting film is not simply another way of photographing your wedding. It’s about creating photographs with a sense of timelessness; images that feel as though they could have been made decades ago while still belonging entirely to your story.

Photographs that don't just show you what your wedding looked like but bring you back to how it felt to be there.
