Nestled in the Welsh countryside, ‘Florin’ by Unique Homestays (@uniquehomestaysweddings) was the perfect setting for Lucy & Brett's intimate wedding. This beautiful Victorian country house became home for the week, with their closest family and friends all staying together, creating a relaxed and meaningful atmosphere long before the ceremony even began.

With glorious sunshine overhead, they exchanged their vows outside in the gardens, accompanied by the beautiful sound of a live violinist (@holliechapmanviolin). It was a wonderfully personal celebration, followed by drinks in the sunshine and a relaxed meal prepared by private caterers, allowing everyone to simply enjoy being together.

Although I was with Lucy & Brett for just four hours it was more than enough time to tell the story of their day. From the quiet moments of Lucy getting ready, to the emotion of the ceremony and a peaceful walk through the gardens afterwards for their portrait session, every part of the day felt unhurried and deeply personal.

Florin is a venue that encourages you to slow down. Rather than rushing between locations, everything happens in one beautiful place and feels like home, allowing you to spend meaningful time with the people you love most. It was a joy to document such an intimate celebration in one of Wales' most unique wedding venues.
